Scholarships, Bursaries, and Funding Specific  Packages

The following packages are specific to high school students and include on-going support. For adults or anyone who prefers one time appointments on an 'as needed' basis, please refer to the hourly appointment rate of $90.00/hour.

From students beginning their high school journey, to grade 12 students applying for post-secondary studies, it is important to develop an understanding what scholarship and bursary sponsors are looking for when they choose recipients.

​

The following packages include on-going 1 hour individual appointments over a one year period, which may also include group presentations. 

​

High School - Grade 10 or Grade 11 Student - bi-monthly appointments (September, November, January, March, May)

Package Price - $400 for the year

* Deadline to sign up is August 15th for September start

Includes:

• What is the difference between a scholarship and a bursary?

• Where do I find opportunities?

• How can I prepare now so that I am ready to submit applications in my grade 12 year?

• Begin a spreadsheet of opportunities where I fit all or most of the criteria

• Developing my platform - what does this mean?

• Building a portfolio that lists my accomplishments

• Starting to write essays that highlight your strengths and accomplishments

• Which grades are most important? - grade 11? grade 10? both?

• Understanding government student loans

High School Student - Grade 12 - 12 monthly appointments (September - August)

Package Price - $900 for the year

• Developing my platform - what does this mean?

• Building a portfolio that lists my accomplishments

• Help applying to post-secondary programs and institutions

• Assistance with applying for government student loans

• Important deadlines not to miss

• Assistance with identifying and applying each month to numerous opportunities - scholarships and bursaries

• On-going assistance with essays and personal statements to be included in applications
